Taj Mahal Tucson reviews
So disappointing
"We were eager for Taj Mahal to come to Nashville! One of our credit card companies provided us with an early access pre-sale code, and we set reminders for when that pre-sale would begin. We rushed online to spend nearly $400.00 for what?
An amazing show that began superbly, but then exactly 1 hour & 15 minutes in — the band executed a “concert ending finish” reminiscent of nothing but a video game, and exited the stage to garner applause for the encore.
One hour passed.
Many people in the audience were underwhelmed, and I overheard a mix of lackluster cheers interspersed with a strong dose of booing. The band returned and performed an additional 20 minutes, but it was lackluster.
In Nashville, this is unacceptable. You can't charge exorbitant ticket prices and deliver a mediocre show that falls short by Nashville's standards.
Compared to this show, tickets for the Eagles cost half as much, and those 60+ year-old musicians spent three hours on stage. Taj Mahal paled in comparison."
